Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two young girls in an interior by Federico Aguilar Alcuaz was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 38,400.00 (€ 3,656.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Aguilar Alcuaz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cockfight in May 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,096,000.00 (€ 128,601.06).
