Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figura / Natura Morta by Fausto Pirandello was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 22,350.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Pirandello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bagnanti in November last year with an auction result of EUR 240,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figura / Natura Morta von Fausto Pirandello kam im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 22.350,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Pirandello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bagnanti im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 240.000,00.
