Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Once upon a time by Farideh Lashai was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,709.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Farideh Lashai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Amal in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 72,100.00 (€ 51,695.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Once upon a time von Farideh Lashai wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 7.709,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Farideh Lashai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Amal im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.100,00 (€ 51.695,71).
