Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Palms by Farghali Abdel Hafiz was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in December 2018. The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 765.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farghali Abdel Hafiz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work HATSHEPSUT in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 55,128.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Palms von Farghali Abdel Hafiz wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 687,50 (€ 765,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farghali Abdel Hafiz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit HATSHEPSUT im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 55.128,23).
