Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Couple In Venice by Farghali Abdel Hafiz was auctioned at Bonhams in London in August 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,485.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farghali Abdel Hafiz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work HATSHEPSUT in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 55,128.23).
