The work Landscape after Ni Zan by Fang Xun was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,056.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tea Tasting in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,670,000.00 (€ 264,779.80).

Die Arbeit Landscape after Ni Zan von Fang Xun wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.056,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tea Tasting im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.670.000,00 (€ 264.779,80).
