Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bamboo And White Peony by Fang Xun was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 84,000.00 (€ 10,764.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tea Tasting in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,670,000.00 (€ 264,779.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bamboo And White Peony von Fang Xun wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 84.000,00 (€ 10.764,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tea Tasting im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.670.000,00 (€ 264.779,80).
