In October 2004 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Landscape by Fang Shishu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 107,550.00 (€ 10,834.32), 54% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Shishu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Autumn Colors On The Qiao And Hua Mountain Following Zhao Mengfu And Dong Qichang in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,330,000.00 (€ 1,183,484.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 54 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Fang Shishu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 107.550,00 (€ 10.834,32) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Shishu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Autumn Colors On The Qiao And Hua Mountain Following Zhao Mengfu And Dong Qichang im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.330.000,00 (€ 1.183.484,61).
