The work Landscape by Fang Shishu was worth HKD 295,000.00 (€ 35,947.72) to a buyer in November 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Shishu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Autumn Colors On The Qiao And Hua Mountain Following Zhao Mengfu And Dong Qichang in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,330,000.00 (€ 1,183,484.61).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Shishu erzielen.
