Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape In The Style of Wu Zhen by Fang Shishu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The price achieved of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 9,372.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Shishu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Autumn Colors On The Qiao And Hua Mountain Following Zhao Mengfu And Dong Qichang in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,330,000.00 (€ 1,183,484.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape In The Style of Wu Zhen von Fang Shishu kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 9.372,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Shishu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Autumn Colors On The Qiao And Hua Mountain Following Zhao Mengfu And Dong Qichang im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.330.000,00 (€ 1.183.484,61).
