Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fang Hengxian could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2001 for an unexpectedly low price. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Travelling In Autumn changed hands for HKD 35,250.00 (€ 5,092.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Hengxian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Insects Scrolls in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 690,000.00 (€ 67,543.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Hengxian konnte im April 2001 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wechselte die Arbeit Travelling In Autumn für HKD 35.250,00 (€ 5.092,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Hengxian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Insects Scrolls im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 690.000,00 (€ 67.543,29).
