Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers and Birds by Fang Hengxian was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,478.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Hengxian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Insects Scrolls in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 690,000.00 (€ 67,543.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers and Birds von Fang Hengxian wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.478,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Hengxian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Insects Scrolls im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 690.000,00 (€ 67.543,29).
