This artwork by Fan Yunlin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Seven-character Poem in Running Script sold for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,747.79) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fan Yunlin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Running-Script Calligraphy in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 35,554.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fan Yunlin erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Seven-character Poem in Running Script für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.747,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fan Yunlin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Running-Script Calligraphy im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 35.554,17).
