The work Calligraphy by Fan Yunlin was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,152.37), 58% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fan Yunlin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Running-Script Calligraphy in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 35,554.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Fan Yunlin wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.152,37) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fan Yunlin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Running-Script Calligraphy im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 35.554,17).
