A top price for Fan Kanglong

This artwork by Fan Kanglong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Dog sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 10,966.52) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. This high result makes Dog the most expensive artwork by Fan Kanglong that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fan Kanglong erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wurde die Arbeit Dog für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 10.966,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00.
