Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dog by Fan Kanglong was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,127.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fan Kanglong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dog, which sold at auction in October 2011 for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 10,966.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dog von Fan Kanglong wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.127,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fan Kanglong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dog beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 10.966,52) versteigert wurde.
