The work Zhongkui by Fan Haolin was worth HKD 875,000.00 (€ 103,281.32) to a buyer in April 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Zhongkui the most expensive artwork by Fan Haolin that we have observed at auctions so far.
