Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Landscape by Fan Haolin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 22,680.00 (€ 2,717.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Haolin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zhongkui in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 103,281.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Fan Haolin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 22.680,00 (€ 2.717,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Haolin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zhongkui im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 103.281,32).
