Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wild Hibiscus and Eight Fish by Fan Chang Tien was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 152,500.00 (€ 16,956.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Fan Chang Tien have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Red Plum with Two Rocks was auctioned for HKD 264,600.00 (€ 31,413.70).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 152.500,00 (€ 16.956,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden.
