Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Mountain Escape by Fan Chang Tien was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 115,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 121,125.00 (€ 13,467.87). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fan Chang Tien - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Plum with Two Rocks, which sold at auction in May last year for HKD 264,600.00 (€ 31,413.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Mountain Escape von Fan Chang Tien wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 115.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 121.125,00 (€ 13.467,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fan Chang Tien mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Plum with Two Rocks beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für HKD 264.600,00 (€ 31.413,70) versteigert wurde.
