The work Two Mynas on a Rock by Fan Chang Tien was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,095.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Admittedly, works by Fan Chang Tien have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Plum with Two Rocks in May last year with an auction result of HKD 264,600.00 (€ 31,413.70).

Die Arbeit Two Mynas on a Rock von Fan Chang Tien wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.095,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fan Chang Tien auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Plum with Two Rocks im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 264.600,00 (€ 31.413,70).
