In April 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Grand Canyon of The Yellowstone And Falls, C. 1887 by F. Jay Haynes. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,635.15), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Grand Canyon of The Yellowstone And Falls, C. 1887 is the most expensive artwork by F. Jay Haynes that we have observed at auctions so far.
