Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „Cathy im Pepita-Kleid, Hamburg“. by F.C. Gundlach was auctioned at Grisebach in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by F.C. Gundlach have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brigitte Bauer, Athènes, 1966 in May last year with an auction result of EUR 8,820.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit „Cathy im Pepita-Kleid, Hamburg“. von F.C. Gundlach kam im November 2017 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von F.C. Gundlach auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Brigitte Bauer, Athènes, 1966 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.820,00.
