Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (after Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun) by Ewa Juszkiewicz was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 32,760.00 (€ 33,454.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ewa Juszkiewicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a Lady (After Louis Leopold Boilly) in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,453,732.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (after Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun) von Ewa Juszkiewicz kam im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 32.760,00 (€ 33.454,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ewa Juszkiewicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady (After Louis Leopold Boilly) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.560.000,00 (€ 1.453.732,18).
