In May 2002 Christies in London held the auction THE IRISH SALE, which included the work St. Anthony of Padua; Design for a stained glass panel by Evie Sydney Hone. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,585.00 (€ 4,048.14), 44% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Evie Sydney Hone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,270.39).

Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion THE IRISH SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. Anthony of Padua; Design for a stained glass panel von Evie Sydney Hone zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.585,00 (€ 4.048,14) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evie Sydney Hone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.270,39).
