In May 2008 Christies in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work Head of Christ, study for the Eton window by Evie Sydney Hone. The price achieved of GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,427.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Evie Sydney Hone have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2018 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,270.39).
