This artwork by Evgeny Rukhin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in September this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online auction, the work Untitled #20, 1975 sold for USD 24,320.00 (€ 22,978.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evgeny Rukhin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Da Nyet, 1975 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Evgeny Rukhin erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online wurde die Arbeit Untitled #20, 1975 für USD 24.320,00 (€ 22.978,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evgeny Rukhin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Da Nyet, 1975 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.220,97).
