Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cossack Lovers Saying Goodbye by Evgeni Alexandrovich Lanceray was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006. The price achieved of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,550.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Evgeni Alexandrovich Lanceray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Bronze Group Of The Warrior Svyatoslav in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 115,343.06).
