Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work A Russian Bronze Group: Zaporezh Cossack After Battle by Evgeni Alexandrovich Lanceray. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,000.00 (€ 19,912.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Evgeni Alexandrovich Lanceray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Bronze Group Of The Warrior Svyatoslav in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 115,343.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Russian Bronze Group: Zaporezh Cossack After Battle von Evgeni Alexandrovich Lanceray zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.000,00 (€ 19.912,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evgeni Alexandrovich Lanceray auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Bronze Group Of The Warrior Svyatoslav im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.250,00 (€ 115.343,06).
