Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Peeling Apples by Evert Pieters. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Evert Pieters - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,914.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peeling Apples von Evert Pieters zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Evert Pieters mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 15.250,00 (€ 17.914,82) versteigert wurde.
