Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work A Sunny Day by Evert Pieters for USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,159.22). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Evert Pieters - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,914.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Sunny Day von Evert Pieters für USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.159,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Evert Pieters mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 15.250,00 (€ 17.914,82) versteigert wurde.
