Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 3,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Evert Moll have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moored sailing barges in Amsterdam with the St. Nikolaaskerk and the Schreierstoren beyond in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 37,600.00 (€ 16,453.03).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evert Moll auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moored sailing barges in Amsterdam with the St. Nikolaaskerk and the Schreierstoren beyond im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 37.600,00 (€ 16.453,03).
