In September 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures, which included the work Colourful Hydrangeas and fruits on a table by Evert Moll. The result of EUR 1,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Evert Moll achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moored sailing barges in Amsterdam with the St. Nikolaaskerk and the Schreierstoren beyond in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 37,600.00 (€ 16,453.03).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colourful Hydrangeas and fruits on a table von Evert Moll zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Evert Moll erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moored sailing barges in Amsterdam with the St. Nikolaaskerk and the Schreierstoren beyond im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 37.600,00 (€ 16.453,03).
