Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'., which included the work Fishing on a sunny day by Evert Moll. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Evert Moll achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moored sailing barges in Amsterdam with the St. Nikolaaskerk and the Schreierstoren beyond in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 37,600.00 (€ 16,453.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing on a sunny day von Evert Moll zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Evert Moll erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moored sailing barges in Amsterdam with the St. Nikolaaskerk and the Schreierstoren beyond im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 37.600,00 (€ 16.453,03).
