Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Wester Dock, Amsterdam; and A view on the Sjand, Amsterdam by Everhardus Koster was sold in the Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,375.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Everhardus Koster achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A regatta on the IJ, Amsterdam in October 2002 with an auction result of EUR 29,875.00.

Die Arbeit The Wester Dock, Amsterdam; and A view on the Sjand, Amsterdam von Everhardus Koster wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.375,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
