Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Evan Nesbit could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Porosity (Yellow Tablet) changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,484.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evan Nesbit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Porosity (Sand in My Joints), 2015 in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 10,075.00 (€ 8,597.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Evan Nesbit konnte im April 2017 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Porosity (Yellow Tablet) für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.484,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evan Nesbit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Porosity (Sand in My Joints), 2015 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.075,00 (€ 8.597,88).
