Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ziggy and Ted by Eustace Paul Ziegler was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 40,312.50 (€ 34,163.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Eustace Paul Ziegler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work The Ford, Mt. McKinley was auctioned for USD 38,175.00 (€ 34,578.80).
