Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a Kobuk Native (Anchorage, Alaska) by Eustace Paul Ziegler for USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,933.63). This price was achieved in the auction Western Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eustace Paul Ziegler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ford, Mt. McKinley in April this year with an auction result of USD 38,175.00 (€ 34,578.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a Kobuk Native (Anchorage, Alaska) von Eustace Paul Ziegler für USD 3.200,00 (€ 2.933,63) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eustace Paul Ziegler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ford, Mt. McKinley im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 38.175,00 (€ 34.578,80).
