This artwork by Eugenio Benvenuti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May 2016. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Canale con gondole sold for EUR 950.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugenio Benvenuti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work By the edge of the lagoon, Venice; A harbour on a Venetian island, which sold at auction in June 2003 for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,377.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugenio Benvenuti erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit Canale con gondole für EUR 950,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eugenio Benvenuti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit By the edge of the lagoon, Venice; A harbour on a Venetian island beobachtet, die im Juni 2003 für GBP 2.350,00 (€ 3.377,08) versteigert wurde.
