It changed hands for a price of EUR 17,925.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 14,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A group portrait of a family in a garden is the most expensive artwork by Eugène Siberdt that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit A group portrait of a family in a garden von Eugène Siberdt kam im April 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 17.925,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 14.000,00 – 18.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A group portrait of a family in a garden das teuerste Kunstwerk von Eugène Siberdt, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
