Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Horse traders by Eugène Fromentin was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,469.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Fromentin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Windstorm On The Esparto Plains Of The Sahara in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 639,000.00 (€ 741,194.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Horse traders von Eugène Fromentin kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.469,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Fromentin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Windstorm On The Esparto Plains Of The Sahara im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 639.000,00 (€ 741.194,17).
