Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Etude de cheval by Eugène Fromentin was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in September this year. The price achieved of EUR 918.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Fromentin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Windstorm On The Esparto Plains Of The Sahara in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 639,000.00 (€ 741,194.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Etude de cheval von Eugène Fromentin wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 918,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Fromentin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Windstorm On The Esparto Plains Of The Sahara im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 639.000,00 (€ 741.194,17).
