Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Campement Au Désert by Eugène Fromentin. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 328.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Fromentin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Windstorm On The Esparto Plains Of The Sahara in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 639,000.00 (€ 741,194.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Campement Au Désert von Eugène Fromentin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 328,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Fromentin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Windstorm On The Esparto Plains Of The Sahara im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 639.000,00 (€ 741.194,17).
