Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A French dragoon on horseback; and A Prussian Uhlan lancer by Eugène-François Fines was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,766.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugène-François Fines - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Moisson, which sold at auction in March 2005 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,641.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A French dragoon on horseback; and A Prussian Uhlan lancer von Eugène-François Fines kam im März 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.766,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eugène-François Fines mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Moisson beobachtet, die im März 2005 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.641,17) versteigert wurde.
