A top price for Eugène-François Fines - as previously expected
The work La Moisson by Eugène-François Fines was sold in the 19th Century European Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2005. The price achieved of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,641.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Moisson is the most expensive artwork by Eugène-François Fines that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit La Moisson von Eugène-François Fines wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion 19th Century European Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.641,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist La Moisson das teuerste Kunstwerk von Eugène-François Fines, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
