Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "La belle Otero" by Eugène de Sala was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2019. It changed hands for a price of SEK 38,000.00 (€ 3,582.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugène de Sala have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Notre dames des lesbes" in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 330,000.00 (€ 32,259.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "La belle Otero" von Eugène de Sala kam im Mai 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 38.000,00 (€ 3.582,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène de Sala auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Notre dames des lesbes" im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 330.000,00 (€ 32.259,79).
