Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eugène de Sala could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Still life with pibe and apples changed hands for DKK 4,400.00 (€ 590.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène de Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Notre dames des lesbes" in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 330,000.00 (€ 32,259.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène de Sala konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Still life with pibe and apples für DKK 4.400,00 (€ 590,24) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène de Sala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Notre dames des lesbes" im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 330.000,00 (€ 32.259,79).
