The work Composition by Eugène de Sala was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2021. The auction ended at the price of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,949.48), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugène de Sala have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Notre dames des lesbes" in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 330,000.00 (€ 32,259.79).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Composition von Eugène de Sala kam im Mai 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.949,48) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène de Sala auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Notre dames des lesbes" im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 330.000,00 (€ 32.259,79).
