Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Eugène Brands achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2017. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work De Roofvogels (The Raptors) sold for EUR 5,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Brands achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wandelen (Promenade in the Village) in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène Brands erzielte im April 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit De Roofvogels (The Raptors) für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Brands erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wandelen (Promenade in the Village) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
