Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Colour, a Gift from the Sun” by Eugène Brands for DKK 7,000.00 (€ 939.07). This price was achieved in the auction CoBrA at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Brands achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wandelen (Promenade in the Village) in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Colour, a Gift from the Sun” von Eugène Brands für DKK 7.000,00 (€ 939,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion CoBrA bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Brands erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wandelen (Promenade in the Village) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
